His previous clubs include Bellinzona, Parma, Napoli, Piacenza, Empoli, Messina, Chievo, Palermo, Juventus, Fiorentina and Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Although he was born in Brazil, he represented Italy once at international level in 2010, after acquiring Italian citizenship.
